The record for the most sword swallowers to swallow the same object simultaneously is four and was set when the performers Thomas Blackthorne (UK), Space Cowboy (Australia), Captain Frodo (Norway) and Gordo Gamsby (Australia) swallowed the four steel legs of the same bar stool. The record was established in front of a live audience during a show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, UK, on 21 August 2007.

A total of 24 direct members of the Hurst family, headed by Mike and Marjorie (both UK) performed at the Kenton Theatre, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, UK in a production of Puss In Boots from 19–20 December 2003. Most times to take-off and land in one hour

Steve Slade (UK) performed 102 successive take-offs and landings in a RANS S6 light aircraft in a 60-minute period at Kemble Airfield, Gloucestershire, UK, on 27 July 2002. In accordance with the rules of this record, it is not necessary for the aircraft to come to a stop between landing and take-off. The only requirement is that the aircraft’s main wheels touch down within a designated 10 m (32.8 ft) strip on the runway. See guidelines for more info.
