As the crow flies, the distance is approximately 180 km (112 miles). They paddled in relay.
Dave Villwock (USA) reached a speed of 354.849 km/h (220.493 mph) in Miss Budweiser, an unlimited class hydroplane, on 13 March 2004 at Thermalito Afterbay, Oroville, California, USA.
