Youngest driver to win a Formula One World Championship race

The youngest driver to win a Formula One World Championship race is Sebastian Vettel (Germany) (b. 3 July 1987) who was aged 21 years 72 days old when he won the Italian Grand Prix on 14 September 2008, driving for Toro Rosso.

This was Vettel’s 22nd race and his maiden win secured the 29th point of his career.

This was also the maiden win for the constructors Toro Rosso.
