Youngest goalkeeper to appear in a Champions League final

The youngest goalkeeper to appear in a UEFA Champions League Final is Iker Casillas (Spain) who appeared for Real Madrid against Valencia at age 19 years, 4 days at the Stade de France in Paris, France, on 24 May 2000. Casillas posted a clean sheet in Real’s 3-0 victory.

It also marked the first time in the history of the Champions League that two teams from the same nation appeared in the final.
