The European badger Meles meles spends more than half of its life underground, and builds the largest setts of any badger species. The largest sett on record was estimated to contain a tunnel network 879 m (2,883 ft) long, with 50 underground chambers and 178 entrances.

The record for the largest bag of cookies is 3200 kg (7054 lb) and was achieved by the Juniorchamber Veenendaal-Rijnvallei in Veenendaal, the Netherlands, on 19 November 2005. Length: 5.5 m, width: 2.0 m, height: 3.0 m, filled with 207.860 Bart Foundation cookies. More than 220 volunteers participated in the record attempt and put over 3600 hours of work in the largest bag of cookies. €41.500 was raised for the Bart Foundation which supports people with a severe disease to achieve their ambitions.

The event was to a part of a series of Cancer Awareness Month events at the hotel and was attended by over 300 cancer patients. Pink balls were used in the pool to match the Cancer Awareness Month theme.

The largest Bajiaojin spun is 310 cm (10 ft 2.05 in) in diameter and was achieved by Liu Jiafu (China) on the set of Zheng Da Zong Yi – Guinness World Records Special in Beijing, China, on 18 December 2010. The Bajiaojin was 210 cm (6 ft 10.68 in) across. Bajiaojin is a kind of handkerchief with eight corners, used in the singing and dancing in China. It is made of silk or cotton.
The largest Bagna Cauda was made by residents of Montalto Dora, Turin, Italy and weighed 270 kg (595.2 lb) during the Festival of Cabbage on 24 November 2001
