Largest bar chimes

The largest playable bar chimes consist of 1,221 chimes and measures 19.58 metres (64 ft 2 in) in length. They were built by Universal Percussion Inc, TreeWorks Chimes, Tom Shelley and Mitch McMichen (all USA) and presented and played at the Drum Fest in Columbiana, Ohio, USA, on 28 August 2011. The chimes were played during a song in a sweeping motion from one end to the other.

Largest banner flown by an airplane

The largest banner flown by an airplane measured 218.03 m² (2,346.85 ft²) and was flown by Edmund Löbbers (Germany) in Rheine, Germany, on 10 July 2010. The aircraft used in the attempt was a Remos G3-600. Edmund flew the banner for 13 minutes. The banner weighed 19.8 kg (43.65 lbs).

Largest baseball

The largest baseball measured 3.6 m (12 ft) in diameter, and went on display at the John Hancock All-Star FanFest, held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, from 7-11 July 2006. The baseball is signed by famous players, such as Ted Williams and Hank Aaron (both USA).

Largest barrier reef system in the northern hemisphere

The Belize Barrier Reef Reserve is a 963-km2 (371.8-mile2) coastal system of atolls, sand cays, mangrove forests, lagoons and estuaries, and is home to the largest reef system in the northern hemisphere. The submarine shelf and barrier reef stretches from Mexico in the north to Guatemala in the south and is second in size only to the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. Largest barbecue (dimensions)

The largest barbecue in the world, unveiled on 20 June 2004, was built on Discovery Channel’s BIG! television show and measures 15 ft 3.75 in (4.66 m) high, 20 ft 2.25 in (6.14 m) wide and 8 ft (2.43 m) deep. The grill is 96 sq ft, 12 ft wide and 8 ft deep. Without the wooden side ‘worktops’, the barbecue itself measures 12 ft 1.75 in. At the unveiling the barbecue was used to cook a whole pig, a ten-foot hotdog and four turkeys.

Largest batik

The largest batik painting called ‘The Batik On The Road’ measured 1,200 m² (12,916 ft²) and was created by 1,000 participants on behalf of the Pekalongan Batik Community in Pekalongan City, Indonesia on 16 September 2005.

Largest basket

The largest basket measured 22 m in Length (72 ft 2.16 in), 14.9 m in width (48 ft 10.5 in) and 12.4 in height (40 ft 8 in), and was made by members of Fatat Al-Ahsa Benevolent Society (Saudi Arabia), in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, on 12 May 2010. Largest battle by number of chariots

The largest chariot battle was the Battle of Kadesh (Qadesh) on the Orontes River in modern-day Syria in 1299BC, with a total of approximately 5,000 chariots. Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses II sought to recapture Kadesh with 2,000 chariots and 16,000 infantry from the Hittite army under Muwatallis, who commanded an infantry of 20,000 with 3,000 chariots.
