The largest chestnut roaster is 9.5 m (31 ft 2 in) long (including the handle) and it has 5 m (16 ft 4 in) of diameter. It has a weight of 600 Kg (1,322.77 lb) and it is able to roast 1,000 Kg (2,204 lb) of chestnuts at one time. The largest chess set board measures 5.89 m (19 ft 4 in) on each side. The king is 119 cm (47 in) tall and is 37.4 cm (1 ft 2 in) wide at the base. The set was made by the Medicine Hat Chess Club (Canada) and was presented and measured in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, on 27 May 2009. The Guidelines have been updated and are now requiring the chess pieces to be bigger as well as the chess board.
The largest chess piece ever was made by Mats Allanson (Sweden) and is a king which is 4 m ( 13.1 ft) high and 1.4 m (4.5 ft) in diameter at the base. The king is one of four made by Mats, the others are the bishop, pawn and rock in proportion to the king. All were made out of wood and hand-finished.

The world’s longest Christmas cracker measured 63.1 m (207 ft) long and 4 m (13 ft) in diameter and was made by the parents of children at Ley Hill School and Pre-School, Chesham, Buckinghamshire, UK on 20 December 2001. The cracker contained balloons, toys, a hat (2.5 m (8ft) in diameter) and a joke. The cracker was pulled by children of the school and members of Saracens Rugby Club and went bang.
