The largest collection of cookbooks belongs to Sue Jimenez (USA & Canada) and consists of 2,970 books as of 14 July 2013, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. This is Sue Jimenez’ second book collection, the first collection was donated to the local library.
The largest collection of Converse shoes belongs to Joshua Mueller (USA) consisting of 1,546 different pairs of Converse shoes in Lakewood, Washington, USA, as of 8 March 2012. Mr Mueller does wear his Converse shoes and has enough to wear a different pair every day for over four years. He goes to great lengths to keep them looking their best, wearing plastic bags on his feet in order to keep them clean when visiting dirty places.
The largest collection of confetti belongs to Casey Larrain (USA), with 1,447 different and unique shapes of confetti, as of 27 April 2008, which she has been collecting since 1983. Her favourites include Wizard of Oz charactesr and Betty Boops shaped confetti.
Amatore Bolzoni of Carpendolo, Italy has a collection of 2,077 different condoms which he has been collecting since the 1980s. Amatore has many different varieties of condoms from around the world. On his travels he has managed to collect specimens from Europe, America, Africa and the Far East. The oldest condom in his collection dates back to the 19th century and is made from a sheep’s bowel. Other more unusual ones include musical condoms, US Army condoms and condoms given to soldiers during the occupation

Tom and Barbara Southwell of Memphis, Tennesee, USA have a collection of 1,206 methodist church plates that they have amassed since the 1990’s.
Alessandro Benedetti (Italy) has collected 1,507 different coloured vinyl records, as of 9 March 2010. His collection is made up of 1,302 LP’s (998 coloured and 158 with pictures), 321 singles (304 coloured, 17 with pictures) and 30 in unusual shapes. Mr Benedetti is the author of a book ‘Extraordinary Records’ which deals with the history of coloured vinyl records. The book also includes photographs of majority of his collection.
The largest collection of coffee pots belongs to Robert Dahl (Germany) and consists of 27,390 coffee pots as of 2 November 2012, in Rövershagen, Germany.
Ortrud Kastaun (Germany) has a collection of 1,610 different clown-related items, as of 3 June 2010, that she has collected since 1995. As Ms Kastaun’s flat had become too small for her growing clown collection, she moved to a larger flat and opened a private clown museum in 2001 (http://www.ortys-clownmuseum.de).
Tao Chun Lin (China) has a collection of 102,005 clothing tags that he has amassed since the 1970’s.
