In July 2010, according to reports attributed to the Afghan Interior Minister, Bismillah Khan Mohammadi, coalition forces seized 5.7 tonnes (6.28 tons) of heroin in what is the world’s largest haul of the drug. In addition to the heroin, 11.3 tonnes (12.46 tons) of opium and 841 kg (1854.09 lb) of hashish were also seized as well as 4.5 tonnes (4.96 tons) of ammonium chloride, which is used in turning the opium into heroin.

Up to 1 m (3 ft 3 in) long and 40 kg (88 lb) in weight, the world´s largest species of herbivorous burrowing mammal is the northern hairy-nosed wombat (Lasiorhinus krefftii) of Queensland, Australia. One of the world´s rarest mammals, it is classed as Critically Endangered by the IUCN, and is entirely restricted to a single 3-km2 (1.1-m2) area within Queensland´s Epping Forest National Park. The total population is currently estimated at approximately 90 individuals.
The largest helium ensemble consisted of 303 people and was lead by Raja Hasan (India) on the set of Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega in Mumbai, India, on 26 March 2011. Raja is a famous singer in India.
The largest helium balloon cluster consists of 20,000 balloons and was achieved by Coca-Cola Beverages (Shanghai) Company Limited in Huanglong Stadium, Hangzhou City, China, on 5 December 2010. The helium balloon cluster was oval in shape. It was about 9.07 m (29 ft 9.08 in) and in height and 8.42 m (27 ft 7.49 in) in diameter. The cluster took about 7 hours to complete.
The largest helicopter formation involved 16 Breda Nardini NH-500-E helicopters that were flown over Frosinone Airbase (Italy) forming the number ’72’ by the Italian Air Force, 72nd Wing. The event was to commemorate the naming of the wing after Sergeant Pilot Marcella De Salvia, who holds the highest Italian award fro bravery, the gold medal for military valour.
The largest heart formation consisted of 11,166 participants and was achieved by the state of Nuevo León at an event organized by Multimedios (Mexico) at Parque Fundidora in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, on 27 February 2010. 30,000 red headscarves were handed out by Multimedios TV and radio in the days leading up to the event and were worn by participants, who were also dressed in red, for aerial photographs. The event featured numerous musical performances and was broadcast live on Multimedios.
The blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) has the largest heart of any living creature. It can weigh over 1,500 lb (680 kg) and be as large as a small automobile. The aorta is large enough for an adult to crawl through and it pumps approximately 15,000 pints of blood as compared to 8 pints in a human being.
