The record for the largest single copy of a newspaper is a copy of Olvasni Jó, measuring 350 cm x 500 cm (11 ft 5.79 in x 16 ft 4.85 in) made by Magyar Lapkiadók Egyesülete at the Press Festival 2007 in Budapest, Hungary, on 26 May 2007.
The largest singing lesson involved 6,651 participants and was achieved by Sweet Adelines International during the 63rd Annual Sweet Adelines International Convention and Competition at the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tennessee, USA, on 24 October 2009. Sweet Adelines International is an organization of female barbershop music singers based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, established by Edna Mae Anderson in 1945. Event organisers seek to educate organizational members about barbershop harmony to advance the artform.

Largest single-unit marquee measured 32,628.51 meters squared (351,210.33 square feet) and was built by Barrett Jackson (USA) at the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction in Scotsdale, Arizona, USA in January 2014 With approximately 1,400 automobiles for auction and more than 300,000 attendees the additional space of marquee was put to good use. In addition to the automobiles, a full sized carousel / merry-go-round was available as an auction item along with various celebrity vehicles auctioned for charity.
The Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC) achieved ‘first light’ on 13 July 2007. Located on the island of La Palma, Canary Islands, Spain, the GTC has a main mirror made up of 36 hexagonal segments giving it a total diameter of 10.4 m (34 ft). The huge telescope and its 35-m (114-ft) dome cost 130 million euros to construct over seven years.
The largest simultaneous skin cancer screening involved 34,435 participants at 170 different locations across Brazil, for an event organised by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology for the Skin Cancer Prevention National Campaign, on 5 December, 2009. This was the 11th year of the campaign and it has been seen to grown every year.
The largest ski lesson was attended by 594 skiers who were instructed by Hansjürg Gredig (Switzerland) of the Swiss-Snowsport School at Sarn-Heinzenberg (Graubünden), Switzerland, on 23 February 2008. The lesson was 1,300 metres long and took 16 minutes. Although Hansjürg Gredig led the lesson there were supplementary instructors for every 20-30 people to ensure the lesson was being followed correctly.
