The largest ceramic teapot is 1.8 m (5 ft 10 in) in height and 1.5 m (4 ft 11 in) in diameter and was designed and fabricated by Sanbao Xu (China) in Yixing, Jiangsu Province, China, in February 2006, for Lu’an Guapian Tea Co. Ltd of Anhui province. The teapot is made if purple sand and can hold 10 kg (22 lb) of tea each time. The cover of the pot weighs 60 kg (132 lb).
The largest simultaneous tea party was arranged by The Cancer Council (Australia) and involved 280,246 participants at 6,062 locations across Australia on 26 May 2005. Over AUD$7M was raised for cancer research and aptient support services.
The record for the largest tea party is 32,681 participants and was achieved by Dainik Bhaskar (India) for the City of Indore, at Nehru Stadium, in Indore, India, on 24 February 2008. The official brew for the event was Brooke Bond Red Label and the event was supported by Tea Board of India.
At total of 306 couples took part in a tea dance in George Square, Glasgow, Scotland, UK, on 12 September 2010. The event was organized by the Evening Times newspaper in association with Glasgowlife and Glasgow Housing Association. Accompanying the dancers was the Swing Sensation Big Band. A tea dance is an afternoon dance accompanied by a live band; sandwiches, biscuits and tea must also be served.
The largest tea cosy was knitted by members of the public, Bupa care homes residents across the UK and resident care homes in Spain and New Zealand at Ashley Park nursing home in Guilford, UK, on 9 April 2009. The final tea cosy included 1924 squares in total. It stands at 3.9 metres high and 11.1 metres in Circumference.
The largest thimble is made from copper and measures 12.503 cm (4.92 in) tall and weighs 318.46 g (11.23 oz). It was handmade by the Pérez brothers of Ripoll, Spain in 2000.
The largest terrine contained 823.6 kg (1,815.73 lbs) of duck pate and was achieved by Françoise-Anne Bachelier (France), in Paris-St-Ouen, Paris, France, on 11 October 2009. The terrine itself is 3,05 m (10 in long, 0,86 m (2 ft 10 in) large and 0,38 m (1 ft 2,96 in) deep.
The largest tequila tasting consists of 862 participants and was achieved by Tequila Tromba and Fonda Lola (both Canada) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on 19 September 2013. The three tequilas tasted were Tequila Tromba Blanco, Tequila Tromba Reposado and Tequila Tromba Ajeno. More than 134 bottles (100,500 mL) of tequila were consumed at the tasting.
The largest tent mosaic consisted of 555 tents and was created by Sand Sculpture World (Qinhuangdao) at Sand Sculpture World, Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, China, on 18 June 2011. The mosaic had a total area of 2,061.88 m² ( 22,193 ft² 128.3 in²). The mosaic depicted the image of one heart. More than 300 volunteers spend 15 hours built the mosaic.
The largest ten commandments tablet measured 152.90 m² (1645.8 ft²) and was unveiled at an event organised by Grace Galindez-Gupana and the Halleluya(Philippines), at Dominican Hill, Baguio City, Phillipines, on 12 August 2011. Grace Galindez-Gupana broke her own record.
