Largest worry beads / komboloi

The largest worry beads/komboloi measured 14.4 m (47 ft 2 in) in length and was made by the Kuwait Oil Company (Kuwait) in Al-Ahmadi, Kuwait, and was completed on 15 January 2011. The beads weighed 2.1 tonnes (4629 lb). The giant beads were made to commemorate Kuwait’s 50th Independence Day, 20th Liberation Day, and the 5th year of the Prince of Kuwait’s governance.

Largest wooden spoon

The largest wooden spoon measured 17.79 m (58 ft 4.39 in) in length and 1.50 m (4 ft 11 in) at its widest point, and was made by Centrul Cultural Mioveni (Romania) in Mioveni, Romania, on 7 June 2013. The spoon is an outsized replica of a traditional Romanian spoon.

Laser powered altitude record

On 2 October 2000, Lightcraft Technologies (USA) successfully flew a 12.2 cm (4.8 inch) diameter craft to a height of 71 m (233 ft), powered only by light. They used a US Army 10 kilowatt pulsed carbon dioxide laser on the ground, fired upwards at the 51 g (1.8 oz) craft, which reflects the light backwards to a point just beneath it. The largest Zumbatomic® class involved 1,121 participants and was achieved by Cheryl Lindsay and RED H.E.A.R.R.T.’S(Help Educate And Reduce Risk Today-USA) at the Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA, on 1 February 2013. All the 1,121 participants were children under the age of 16 from Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School who took part in the record attempt to promote the benefits of physical activity, with local Mayor Allen Joines also in attendance.

Largest Zumba® class

The largest Zumba® class involved 6,671 participants and was achieved by Dinaz Vervatvala (India) at Peoples’ Plaza, Necklace Road, Hyderabad, India, on 15 September 2012. The participants comprised of all age groups and the attempt was conducted next to the famous and picturesque Hussain Sagar lake.

Largest yule log

Northlands Spectrum, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada created the world’s largest log cake weighing 2.49 tonnes (5,505.3 lb) at Northlands Park on December 9, 2000. The cake measured 21.95 m. (72 ft) in length. The width of the cake was 45.72 cm. (18 in.) and the height 33.02 cm. (13 in.). The cake was fed to about 3,500 guests at Northlands Park. The largest pot of yoghurt measures 1.68 m (5 ft 6.14 in) in height, has a maximum diameter of 1.39 m (4 ft 6.72 in) and contains 599.65 kg (1,322 lb) of Greek yoghurt. The pot was made by GreekTown on the Danforth BIA (Canada) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on 11 August 2013.

Largest yoga class

The largest yoga class involved 29,973 students from 362 schools who performed a sequence of yogic kriyas called Suryanamaskar (Salute to the Sun) simultaneously for 18 minutes, led by Vivekanand Kendra (India), at Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India on 19 November 2005.
