Longest cantilever roof

The roof of the Busan Cinema Center (South Korea) features a cantilever that extends 85 m (278 ft 10.45 in) from its single cone-shaped column support. This roof has a surface area of 60 m by 163 m (196 ft by 535 ft) and weighs 6,376 (metric) tons. Its 9,531 m² (102,591 ft²) of ceiling is clad with 42,600 LED lights. The longest canoe measures 45.44 m (149 ft 1 in) and was built by students and teachers of Nokomis Regional High School, Newport, Maine, USA. The canoe was presented and measured on 8 July 2006.

Longest candyfloss (cotton candy)

The longest candyfloss (cotton candy) measures 1,400 m (4,593 ft 2 in) and was achieved by Kocaeli Fuar Müdürlügü in Izmit, Kocaeli, Turkey, on 10 July 2009. The candyfloss weighed 300 kg. 70 of Kocaeli Fuar Müdürlügü staff participated in making the candyfloss in 6 hours.

The longest candy is 2,011 m (6597 ft 9.07 in), achieved by Look-O-Look International, in ‘s-Heerenberg, Netherlands, on 13 April 2011. Look-O-Look International B.V. produced a 2,011 (6597 ft 9.07 in) long strawberry fizzy belt, which took almost 4 hr to produce. The longest candy will be distributed amongst 1700 visitors of Look-O-Looks on 21 May in Andelst, the Netherlands. The ingredients used were sugar, glucose-fructose syrup, wheat flour, acidulant,dextrose, vegetable oil, flavour, antioxidants, fruit extract and plant extracts.

Longest cake roll

The longest roll cake measured 115.09 m (521 ft 11 in) and was made by Shotengai Shinkokumiai Takasaki Chubu Meitengai and Takasaki Chuoginza Shotengai Shinkokumiai (both Japan) in Takasaki, Gunma, Japan, on 19 November 2011. The cake was decorated with 100kg of whipped cream, 10kg of sugar, 45g of gold powder and other ingredients.

Longest career as a motor racing driver

The longest career as a motor racing driver is 39 years 364 days and was achieved by Laurentiu Moldovan (Romania) who raced in rally cars and formula 1 style cars from 7 July 1968 to 6 July 2008. Larentiu died on 6 July 2008 in his first ever accident on the track, he was racing in Romania’s national championships. He won multiple national titles during the 1970s. The longest career as a lawyer is 62 years 286 days and was achieved by Dimitrios Papatheofanous (b. 31 July 1922, Greece) who served as a professional lawyer in Athens, Greece, from 10 February 1948 until 20 December 2010. Dimitrios Papatheofanous was awarded the title of Honorary Lawyer of the Athens Bar Association.

The longest career as a FIFA-listed referee is 20 years 10 months by Sarkis Demirdjian (Lebanon) from September 1962 to July 1983. Demirdjian specialised in officiating matches in Asia, totaling 826 matches throughout his 27-year career. The longest career as a conductor is 76 years and was achieved by Viliam Karmazin (b. 23 September 1922, Slovakia), who began his career in 1936 and conducted his final concert for the ZVON choir in Sered, Slovakia, on 23 September 2012. Mr Karmazin has conducted for the ZVON choir since 1942.
