The longest sitar marathon lasted for 25 hours exactly and was achieved by Renuka Punwani (India) at the Pancham Academy of Indian Music, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, from 26-27 November 2011. Renuka is a respectable 76 years old but shows no sign of her stamina fading: she has accompanied other students of the Pancham Academy on previous music marathon record attempts including singing and playing the santoor.

Longest marathon playing tennis, doubles

The longest marathon playing tennis doubles is 57 hr 32 min 27 sec, achieved by Sipke de Hoop, Wichard Heidekamp, Andre Poel, Rob Hamersma (all Netherlands) at the Zuidlaarder Tennis Club, Zuidlaren, Netherlands, on 16-18 August 2013. The group of four was able to play 46 matches, consisting of 112 sets and 975 games.

Longest marathon rifle shooting

The longest rifle shooting marathon was 26 hours by five members of St Sebastianus Schützenbruderchaft Ettringen 1901 eV shooting club at Ettringen, Germany, on 20-21 September 2003. The five members were: Karl Westhoften, Rainer Lanz, Dieter Franken, Christian Lanz and Manfred Savelsberg, who shot from three positions: prone, standing, and kneeling, and followed all ISSF regulations.

The longest marathon reading aloud by a team was 365 hr 00 min 39 sec and was achieved by Martha Esther Madera Báez, Carlos José Reyes, Randolfo Ariostto Jiménez Pérez, Cristian Rodríguez Morrobel, and José Manuel Bueno Grullón (all Dominican Republic) and organized by the Ministerio de la Juventud in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, from 7 to 23 July 2011. The longest marathon playing wiffleball is 25 hr 39 min 33 sec and was achieved by ten players led by Julian Cordle (USA), at US Cellular Community Park in Medford, Oregon, USA, from 10 to 11 August 2013. Team captain Julian Cordle and four players of team Insurance Lounge White defeated team captain Rich Rosenthal and four players of the Insurance Lounge Blue team by a score of 357-246 in a single game of wiffleball.
