The longest motorcycle backflip by a woman measured 12.36 m (40 ft 7 in) and was completed by Jolene Van Vugt (USA) at Godfrey Trucking/Rocky Mountain Raceway in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, on 17 November 2008 for the MTV show ‘Nitro Circus’. Van Vugt was riding a RM125 Two Stroke Yamaha motorcross bike This is the first time a woman has been recorded successfully completing a backflip on a motorcycle. The longest horse race in the world is 833.2 km achieved by ‘The Mongol Derby’ (Mongolia) in Binder, Mongolia, on 17 Aug 2010 An allocated vet selected the 23 horses taking part in the race and was responsible for all necessary vet checks. The race took upto 10 days to be fully completed.
The longest moustache measures 4.29 m (14 ft) and belongs to Ram Singh Chauhan (India). It was measured on the set of Lo Show dei Record in Rome, Italy, on 4 March 2010. The record was part of the Italian TV show “Lo Show dei Record”.
The longest mountainboarding race is the 5th Annual Nate Harrison Grade Race which measures 6.95 miles (11.18 km) and took place at Palomar Mountain, San Diego County, California, United States, on 3 September 2008. The race was measured using Topcon GPS equipment. There were 15 entrants with the the winner being 2008 World Freestyle Mountainboard Champion Kody Stewart who finished in 18 min 56 sec (a course record).
