The longest running television advertising drama consists of 205 episodes sponsored the Swedish supermarket chain ICA and featuring Hans Mosesson as ’Stig’. The 205th episode was broadcast on 6 May 2007.
The US series The F.B.I. (ABC) ran from 1965-74 and amassed an episode count of 240. The series featured adaptations of many real-life F.B.I. cases and was partly inspired by the 1959 film The F.B.I. Story.
Hockey Night in Canada or HNIC (CBC, Canada), began on CRBC (renamed CBC) radio in 1933, before it debued on 11 October 1952 to cover the first televised National Hockey League (NHL) match in Montreal, Canada. Since then, HNIC has aired every Saturday night during the regular hockey season with annual coverage of All-Star weekend, the playoffs, and the Stanley Cup Finals. The longest scarf knitted by a team measures 54.29 km (33.74 miles). It was knitted by the volunteers, friends and supporters of Ty Hafan – The Children’s Hospice in Wales. Work started in May 2002 and the scarf was measured at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, UK on 23 June 2005.
