The longest stationary manual on a wheelchair is 10 hrs, 0 min, 1 sec, achieved by Hermann van Heerden (South Africa), in Bloemfontein, South Africa, on 11 October 2011. The minimum requirements for this record was 4 hrs however Hermann was not content with simply achieving the record, he bettered the time by a further 6 hrs.

Longest staple chain

The longest chain of staples measures 173.99 m (570 ft 10 in) and was built by the staff of Staples Bathurst (Canada). It was presented and measured in Bathurst, Canada, on 23 July 2011. The attempt was part of the 20th anniversary of Staples Canada where a contest was held between the single stores to see who can come up with the most original celebration. Staples in Bathurst decided to break a Guinness World Record.

Longest standing jump (motorcycle)

The record for the longest standing jump on a motorcycle is 4 m 26 cm (13 ft 11 in) and is held by Michele Pradelli (Italy) who achieved the record on the set of Lo Show Dei Record, in Milan, Italy, on 25 April 2009. The distance was measured from platform to platform and the jump required a standing start.

Longest squash marathon (singles)

The longest marathon playing squash singles is 32 hr 7 min 36 sec and was achieved by Alexander and Nicholas Craig (both Australia) in Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia, from 5-6 October 2013. The two brothers are big Guinness World Records fans and have played squash for many years. They decide to combine both passions in an effort to become Guinness World Records title holders. Longest speech marathon (team)

The longest speech marathon by a team is 100 hours and was achieved by Mar Adentro de México, A.C., Toastmasters México – Jalisco and Ayuntamiento de Guadalajara 2010-2012 at Parque de la Revolución, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, from 18-22 May 2011. There were a total of 636 participants who spoke for a minimum of 5 minutes throughout the attempt.
