The most prolific record breaker for the Cooking Mama series (Majesco, 2006-) is William Willemstyn III (USA), who holds 9 records in total. All of Willemstyn’s achievements were made on the Nintendo DS version of the game. Featured in Guinness World Records Gamers Edition 2011

Most prolific console-based news service

The most prolific console-based gaming news service is Toro Station (formerly Mainichi Issho), produced by Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and featuring a total of 1,591 episodes on the PlayStation 3 and PSP (PlayStation Portable) consoles between November 11 2006 to 15 May 2011. The news service was hosted within a piece of software that was updated regularly (daily for its first three years, weekly thereafter) and featured the two PLAYSTATION mascot cats, Toro and Kuro.

The most prolific theatre producer is Howard E. Pechet (Canada) who has produced 485 plays at ten different venues across Canada, between January 1975 and July 2008. Most of the productions were under the banner of Stage West. At present only Stage West Calgary and Stage West Mississauga are still open. The most prolific substantiated modern serial killer is Pedro López. Born in Colombia, he raped and killed young girls in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador, eventually confessing to 300 such murders. Charged on 57 counts of murder in Ecuador, the Monster of the Andes was sentenced in 1980 to life imprisonment.
