The most Scrabble opponents played simultaneously by one challenger is 28 and was achieved by Chris May (Australia), who won 25 of the 28 games, at Oxford University Press in Oxford, Oxfordshire, UK, on 11 June 2013. It took Chris May more than four hours to complete all 28 games.

The record for the highest Scrabble score achieved in 24 hours by two players is 196,525 and is held by Lakshan Wanniarachchi and Yeshan Jayasuriya (both Sri Lanka). The attempt took place in Columbo, Sri Lanka, on 10-11 November 2012. They played a total of 224 games and broke the previous record during game 184.

The record for the highest flip indie on a skateboard using a half pipe ramp is 1.8m from the lip of the ramp and was performed by Jocke Olsson (Sweden) on the set of L’Été de Tous Les Records, Port Leucate, France on 21 July 2004.

The record for the longest ramp jump into water on a skateboard is 4 m (13.1 ft) by Jerome Lalanne (France) on the set of L’Été De Tous Les Records in Argeles Gazost, France on 13 July 2004. The participant had to completely clear a line in order to qualify as a good jump.

Mycoplasma genitalium has the smallest number of genes of any organism on Earth. it has just 482 genes compared with around 40,000 for humans. This organism lives in the genital tracts of humans. Its genome was sequenced in 1995.

Asteroid 2004 JG6 orbits the Sun in 184.46 days. It was discovered by Brian Skiff (USA) at the Lowell Observatory, Flagstaff, Arizona, USA, and announced on 13 May 2004. It measures between 500 and 1,000m (1,600 and 3,300 ft) in diameter.

Shortest woman to give birth

The shortest woman to give birth is Stacey Herald (USA) who is 72.39 cm (28.5 in) and who delivered her first child in Dry Ridge, Kentucky, USA, on 21 October 2006. Mrs. Herald’s first child was a girl. She delivered her second baby girl on 1 January 2008. Both children were delivered by caesarean sections. She gave birth to her third child, a boy named Malachi in November 2009.

Shortest woman ever

The shortest ever female has been Pauline Musters, known as Princess Pauline (Netherlands). She was born at Ossendrecht, Netherlands on 26 February 1876 and measured 30 cm (12 in) at birth. At nine years of age she was 55 cm (21.5 in) tall and weighed only 1.5 kg (3 lb 5 oz). She died of pneumonia with meningitis on 1 March 1895 in New York City, USA at the age of 19. The world’s shortest TV commercial is half a frame (one field) and lasts for 1/60 of a second. Twelve different versions of the commercial were produced, all advertising MuchMusic (a Canadian music and video TV channel), and the first was aired on 2 January 2002. The creator, producer and editor was Tharanga Ramanayake (Canada).
