The record for the highest 900 degree McTwist performed on inline skates off a halfpipe ramp is 1.15 m and was set by Kevin Marron (Belgium) on the set of L’Ete De Tous Les Records, La Tranche Sur Mer, France, on 28 July 2005.
The record for the most candyfloss made in 90 minutes is 204. This record was achieved by Peggy Chadwick of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Blackpool, Lancashire, UK on 31 August 2001. This was achieved as part of UK Youth week, which was held at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
Skateboard legend Tony Hawk (USA) became the first person to achieve a ‘900’ (two and a half airborne rotations) in competition at the ESPN X Games Five in San Francisco, California, USA on 27 June 1999. The so-called 900 (named after the fact that the skater spins two and a half rotations) is regarded as one of the most difficult tricks in vert skateboarding.
