The largest gu zheng ensemble consisted of 2,348 participants at an event in Longwan Seaside Square in Huludao City, Liaoning province, China on 8 August 2007. The event was organised by Huludao Municipal Committee of the CPC and Huludao Municipal Government (both China). Angela Wu adjudicated.
The tallest zinnia named “My Lucky Lady” measured 3.86 m (12 ft 8 in) on 23 October 2008 and was grown by Everett W. Wallace, Jr. and Melody Wagner (both USA) in Riegelwood, North Carolina, USA. The zinnia was names My Lucky Zinnia.
Archaeological discoveries made south of Luxor in Egypt in 2009 suggest the existence of a vast menagerie of animals. 112 creatures in total, including elephants, wildcats, baboons, hartebeests (antelopes), and hippos dating back to 3500 bc. Sean combined his love of running and zombie movies to achieve a life times ambition of setting a Guinness World Records title.
