The largest Cha-Cha Slide dance was achieved by 3,231 participants at an event organised by Girlguiding North West England (UK) at Pleasure Beach in Blackpool, UK, on 8 October 2011.

The attempt itself was held in a closed tunnel with one controlled entrance. Elsewhere in the park, nearly 5,000 additional girlguiding members also stopped what they were doing to participate with the music playing over loudspeakers.
