Largest fountain

The largest fountain is the musical fountain at Dadaepo Beach. The fountain measures 2,519m2 (27,114 ft2 26in2) and was built by Sahagu Office in Busan, South Korea, on 30 May, 2009.

Fountains typically spray water from a water tank. This particular fountain, however, sprays water from the ground and offers various fountain shows without the need of a water tank. The water reaches a height of 55 metres (180 ft 5in), there are 1,046 nozzles, 1,148 lights and it cost an estimated $6.1 million to build (£3.74 million).
