The largest hula dance involved 797 participants, in an event organised by Yokohama Hawaii Festival, at the Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Centre Rinko Park, Yokohama, Japan on 11 July 2009.

The record attempt was part of the Yokohama Hawai’i Festival held each year in Yokohama Japan.
