The largest melodica ensemble consisted of 158 children from the Jyosei Elementary School (Japan) in Hikone, Shiga, Japan, on 18 November 2010 in celebration of Guinness World Records Day.

The children aged between 7-9 years old played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star for five minutes. Ms Kuniko Teramura conducted the ensemble.
