Largest pair of jeans

The largest jeans measure 50.10 meters (164 ft 4 in) tall, 36 meters (118 ft 1 in) wide and weigh 1 tonne. The jeans were created by Larbi Bouqamha and students from Institut Arabe de la Mode (Tunisia). The jeans were unveiled in Tunis, Tunisia, on 23 May 2009.

1,600 m (5249 ft 4 in) of fabric and 15,000 m (49,212 ft 6 in) of thread were required to make the jeans which are as tall as a 20 storey building. The waist of the jeans is 36 m (118 ft 1 in). It took the designer 1 month to make the jeans and this was with the help of 15 students from the Arabic institute of fashion. The jeans was displayed in a football stadium near the capital, Tunis. 40 people were required to move the jeans.
