The largest sand painting measured 9,028 m² (97,176.19 ft²) and was created by over 2,500 participants organised by the Brahma Kumaris (India) at Firodia School in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India, on 26 November 2010.

The theme of the painting was “Peace.”
