The largest swing dance was achieved by 756 participants in an event organised by Steve Zaagman (USA) and the Grand Rapids Original Swing Society, at Rosa Parks Circle, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, on 7 August 2012.

The weekly meeting of the Grand Rapids Original Swing Society regularly features several hundred swing dance enthusiasts practicing their best moves to live music in the town square.
