The longest videogames marathon playing a fighting game lasted 48 hours exactly and was achieved by Anthony ‘AJ’ Lysiak (USA), who played Street Fighter X Tekken (Capcom, 2012) at Game Emporium in Garrettsville, Ohio, USA, from 4-6 May 2012.

The Game Emporium arcade where the attempt took place is a small local business that ran two consecutive lock-in events to support AJ’s attempt.
