The team of 12 were made up of Steven Lilley, Nicola Horsfield, Neil Martin, Paul Roberts, John Usher, Suzanne Travis, David Huby, Carolyn Holland, Diane Ho, Gayle Kelly, Sheela Harper, Cheryl Henrys-Dean.
This attempt took place on day one of the event called ‘Food Fest’ in Plymouth. The team of 12 that took part in this attempt were divided into 3 tea groups which were; Yorkshire tea, Irish Breakfast Tea and Darjeeling. Each team had three participants and the remaining three participants replenished trays of tea so that they could be reused throughout the attempt.
99 tea pots and 9 boilers, each containing 25 litres of water were used during the attempt.
