Most people being tested for HIV (multiple venues) – 8 hours

The most people being tested for HIV at multiple venues in eight hours is 3733 people and was achieved by AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), Fundación Bienestar and the City of Rosario at venues across Rosario, Argentina, on 30 November 2012

In total ten locations were used across Rosario with the most prominent being, Plaza Montenegro (1380 people), Plaza San Martin (987 people) and the main tourist spot in the city, Monumento a la Bandera (329 people). AHF helps over 183,000 individuals in 27 different countries, they have been present in Latin America since 2007. For this record they worked with their partners Fundacion Bienestar and Dr.Lupo’s teams who used ‘rapid tests’ which shows the results within minutes. The tests were carried out from 10am to 6pm.
