The record for the highest flip indie on a skateboard using a half pipe ramp is 1.8m from the lip of the ramp and was performed by Jocke Olsson (Sweden) on the set of L’Été de Tous Les Records, Port Leucate, France on 21 July 2004.

Skateboard – longest ramp jump into water

The record for the longest ramp jump into water on a skateboard is 4 m (13.1 ft) by Jerome Lalanne (France) on the set of L’Été De Tous Les Records in Argeles Gazost, France on 13 July 2004. The participant had to completely clear a line in order to qualify as a good jump.

Shortest spy

The smallest recorded spy was the Frenchman, Richebourg (1768-1858), who measured 58 cm (1 ft 11 in) as an adult. Richebourg was employed by the aristocracy to act as a secret agent during the French Revolution (1789-1799), dispatching messages into and out of Paris, whilst disguised as an infant and carried by his ‘nurse’.

Shortest reign of a monarch

In July 1830, Louis-Antoine of France – the last “Dauphin”, or heir apparent – ascended the French throne as King Louis XIX, succeeding his father, Charles X, who had abdicated. Within 20 minutes, however, Louis-Antoine had also abdicated, making him the joint shortest reigning monarch in history. Smallest model sailing boat, radio controlled

The smalles radio controlled modes sailing boat is 15.2 cm (5 in) long, 6.3 cm (2 in) wide and its hight including mast, keel and bulb is 38 cm (1 ft 2 in). It was build by Claudio Diolaiti in Nice, France and was tested and measured on 14 November 2007. The boat is handmade except for the motors. Tallest bridge

The 2,460-m (8,070-ft) long Millau Viaduct across the Tarn Valley, France, is supported by seven concrete piers, the tallest of which measures 244.96 m (804 ft) from the ground to the road deck. The piers also supports seven 87-m-tall (285-ft) masts, so the maximum total height from the top of the masts to the deepest point in the valley is 343 m (1,125 ft). The tallest chocolate sculpture is a 10-metre-tall (32 ft 9.7 in) Christmas tree created by Patrick Roger (France) in Sceaux, France, on 1 December 2010. The sculpture weighs 4,000 kg (8,818 lb 7.84 oz) and took a month to create.

Tallest sugar cube tower

The tallest sugar cube tower measured 2.08 m (6 ft 10 in) and was built by Camille Courgeon (France) in Blanquefort, France, on 1 July 2013. The completed tower used 2,669 individual cubes and was completed in 2 hours 59 minutes.
