The record for the highest air on a BMX off a halfpipe ramp is 2.9 m (9 ft 6.17 in) and was set by John Parker (USA) on the set of L’Été de Tous Les Records, La Tranche Sur Mer, France, on 26 July 2005.

The record for the highest air on a skateboard off a halfpipe ramp is 2.35 m (7 ft 8 in) and was achieved by Jocke Olsson (Sweden) on the set of L´Été De Tous Les Records, Argeles-Gazost, France, on 6 July 2005. For this record the distance from the top of the platform (8 meters high) to the landing surface (4.5m down the platform) was taken. The landing area was measured by white adhesive bands starting at 1 meter and then stuck every 50cm.

On a BMX, Benoit Mendiboure (France) jumped a record height of 4 m 80 cm (15 ft 9 in) using a dirt ramp on the set of L’Été De Tous Les Records in Argeles Gazost, France on 13 July 2004.

Remy Degarat threw his partner Flore Huguenin (both France) overhead to a height of 3 m 55 (11 ft 8 in) while dancing on the set of L’Eté de tous les records in La Tranche sur Mer, France on 25 July 2005.

The record for the highest somersault inline skate jump into water is 3.7 m (12.13 ft) and was set by Luc Bourdin (France) on the set of L’Été De Tous Les Records in Biscarrosse, France on 1 July 2004. There was a 10 m run-up and take off was from a 1 metre quarterpipe ramp. Height was measured from the lip of the ramp to the elastic line which he had to completely clear.

The highest average speed by a train over a distance of 1,000 km (621 miles) is 306.37 km/h (190.37 mph), by a French SNCF TGV train between Calais and Marseille on 26 May 2001.
