The longest sequence of objects memorized in one minute is 22 and was achieved by Sudhakar Raju (India) at the Anantapur Press Club, Andhra Pradesh, India on 10 December 2011. Sudhakar took 49.50 seconds to recall the 22 objects, after having one minute to memorise them all.
The longest singing marathon by an individual lasted 105 hours and was achieved by Sunil Waghmare (India) in Nagpur, India, from 3 to 7 March 2012. The record attempt started at 11.06am on 3 March, with a variety of popular Indian songs being sung. No song was repeated within a 4 hour period. The attempt ended on the evening of 7 March after which Mr Waghmare joined in with a sing song with his supporters.
The longest sewing needle is 2.46 metres (8 ft 1 in) long and was made by Nishant Choudhary, Rajbala Choudhary, Alok Sharma and Praveen Jakhar (all India). The needle was presented and measured in Jaipur, India, on 26 December 2009. 15 stitches were made with the needle on two pieces of black fabric, as requested by the guidelines.
The lowest score to par after 72 holes in a major golf tournament is – 32 (32 under par) and was achieved by Chapchai Nirat (Thailand) at the 2009 SAIL Open at the Classic Golf Resort, Gurgaon, India, on 21 March 2009. The SAIL Open is part of the Asian Tour which is one of the six full members of the International Federation of PGA Tours. This defines the tournament as a “major” tournament.

Kishore Kumar, who died in 1987, won eight Filmfare awards for Best Male Playback Singer. He appeared in several comedies in the 1940s before becoming a full-time singer.
