The thinnest handmade chinese noodle measures 0.33 mm (0.01 in) in diametre and was created by Li Enhai (China) on the set of Lo Show dei Record in Rome, Italy, on 1 April 2010. The record was part of the Italian TV series “Lo Show dei Record”.
The youngest driver to win a Formula One World Championship race is Sebastian Vettel (Germany) (b. 3 July 1987) who was aged 21 years 72 days old when he won the Italian Grand Prix on 14 September 2008, driving for Toro Rosso. This was Vettel’s 22nd race and his maiden win secured the 29th point of his career. This was also the maiden win for the constructors Toro Rosso.
The world’s youngest cardinal ever was Luis Antonio de Bourbon (Italy, b. 25 July 1727) who was created cardinal on 19 December 1735 aged 8 years 147 days.
On 4 September 1999, 18-year old Luigi Sannino (Italy) became the youngest ever astronomer to discover an asteroid. Using telescopes at Monte Viseggi Observatory, La Spezia, Italy, the young Sannino and observing colleague P. Pietrapiana tracked the course of the asteroid now named 12575 Palmaria (1999 RH1) by the International Astronomical Union’s Minor Planet Centre.
