The longest career as a children’s television host is 40 years 11 months and was achieved by Xavier Lopez a.k.a Chabelo (Mexico) who has hosted En Familia con Chabelo, broadcast on Televisa, Mexico, every Sunday from 6 December 1968 to 15 November 2009. In his 40 year career Chabelo has only missed two shows. Xavier Lopez was born in 1935.
