The youngest person to hit 600 home runs in a Major League Baseball career is Alex Rodriguez (USA, b. 27 July 1975), who hit No. 600 at 35 years, 8 days old against the Toronoto Blue Jays on 4 August 2010. At age 11, Emily Rosa, of Loveland, Colorado, USA, became the youngest person to have research published in a scientific or medical journal when an article she co-authored appeared in the Journal of the American Medical Association on 1 April 1998.
