Joe Cada (USA, b. 18 November 1987), became the youngest winner of the World Series of Poker main event at the age of 21 years, 357 days on 10 November 2009. Cada outdueled poker pros Phil Ivey and Jeff Shulman for the title. He also competed in the No-Limit Hold’em $1,500 Buy-In tournament (17th place finish) and the No-Limit Hold’em $2,500 Buy-in (64th place) at the same 2009 WSOP.

The youngest female golfer to score a hole-in-one is Soona Lee-Tolley (USA), aged 5 years 103 days at the par 3 7th at Manhattan Woods Golf Club, West Nyack, New York, USA, on 1 July 2007. The hole is a 125 yards long. Soona’s older brothers are succesful young golf players as well.

LeBron James is the youngest Most Valuable Player award winner of the NBA All-Star Game (21 years, 51 days), scoring 29 points and sparking a second-half comeback as the Eastern Conference rallied for a 122-120 victory over the Western Conference, in Houston, Texas, on 19 February 2006. Oscar Robertson (b. 24 November 1938) was the previous youngest winner in 1961 (22 years, 55 days). James is also the first member of the Cleveland Cavaliers (USA) to win All-Star MVP honors.

The youngest person to have an appendectomy was Sebastian Perez (b. 31 July, 2009, IN, USA) when he was just 9 days old at the Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis, on 9 August, 2009. Sebastian was recovering well at the time of discharge and after a few complications.
