The most pistes skied in 8 hours is 64 achieved by Larry Olmstead and also Jim Harlan (both USA), at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, Crested Butte, Colorado, USA on 7 March 2012. Jim Harlan, a C-6 quadriplegic, skied with Larry Olmstead and matched the record on his mono-ski.

The group ran tethered together by a rope threaded through a carabineer attached to each of their belts. This is the third time organiser Robin Gohsman (USA) and compatriots have set a ‘linked running’ Guinness World Records title.
