Largest crystal skull

The world´s largest crystal skull, aptly dubbed Colossus but also known as Akator or Papa, is a modern-day example created by celebrated Brazilian crystal skull carver Leandro from a single block of Brazilian smoky quartz, and weighs 158 kg (348 lb) – roughly the same weight as a Sumo wrestler! It is owned by Leandro, who is currently offering it for sale online, with an asking price of around $100,000-$150,000. (£70,161-£105,230)

Largest crystal mosaic

The largest crystal mosaic measured 9.88 m² (106 ft² 50 in²) and was achieved by Hassan Mohammed Masry (Syria) and Aysha Almusa(Saudi Arabia), in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on 14 August 2011. The mosaic measured 4 m (13 ft 1.44 in) in length and 2.47 m (8 ft 1.2 in) in width. Around 400,000 crystals were used to create the mosaic, which depicted an image of His Majesty King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz.

Largest croquette

The largest croquette weighed 225.8 kg (497 lb) and was made by Cherish and Van Dobben (both Netherlands) in Oostzaan, Netherlands on 27 October 2007. The croquette measured 143 cm (4 ft 8 in) in length and 47.3 cm (1 ft 6 in) in diameter.

Largest crocodilian

The largest crocodilian in the world is the estuarine or saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus), which ranges throughout the tropical regions of Asia and the Pacific. The Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary in Orissa State, India, houses four protected estuarine crocodiles measuring more than 6 m (19 ft 8 in) in length, the largest being over 7 m (23 ft) long. The largest cup of hot chocolate contained 3,331.16 l (732.753 gal, 880 US gal) and was achieved by The Festival of Chocolate and the Museum of Science and Industry (USA) in Tampa, Florida, USA, on 21 January 2013. The record was part of the Festival of Chocolate. In total they used 39,462.5 grams of powdered milk, 3,331.16 litres of water and 502,584.88 grams of cocoa. It took around 3 hours and 16 minutes to get the hot chocolate to a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius.

Largest cupcake mosaic

The largest cupcake mosaic measures 110.60 m² (1,190 ft² 70.34 in²), and was achieved by Ayer Rajah Community Centre Youth Club (Singapore), at an event held at the Singapore Expo in celebration of the nation’s 47th National Day on 29 July 2012. The image depicted two hands united to form the shape of a heart with the flag of Singapore enclosed. The largest cupcake weighs 1,176.6 kg (2,594 lb) and was achieved by Georgetown Cupcake (USA) at Georgetown Cupcake’s national shipping headquarters in Sterling, Virginia, USA, on 2 November 2011. Georgetown cupcake is Washington DC’s first gourmet cupcake bakery and its owners are also subject of a docu-drama television series, ‘DC cupcakes’ on the TLC network. The largest cup/glass of soft drink contains 5,534 litres of lemonade (194,769.49 UK fl oz; 187,126.8 US fl oz) and was created by Batroun Traders Association (Lebanon), in Batroun, Lebanon, on 8 July 2012. The ingredients of the drink were: 2,300 kg (81,130 lb) of fresh lemon juice, 1,000 kg (35,274 lb) of white sugar, 900 kg (31,746 lb) of ice cubes and 3,100 litres (109,104 UK fl oz; 104,823 US fl oz) of purified water. The largest cup of tea is 4000 litres (7039.01 pt) in volume and was produced by GlaxoSmithKline Beecham (Private) Ltd (Sri Lanka) for Viva, at Burgher Recreation Club grounds in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 9 October 2010. The tea cup was named the “VIVA” tea cup. The tea cup itself measured 10 ft in height and 8 ft in width.
