The largest dance class was achieved by 9,223 participants in an event organised by Athena, The National Israeli council for the advancement of women in sports (Israel) in Tel Aviv’s Harbour, Tel Aviv, Israel, on 30 April 2010. The event was supported by the Israeli Minister of Sport and was aimed to promote sports between women. The dance class was performed by only women.
The largest dance by couples consisted of 5,188 participants (2,599 couples) and was organised by Milka (Hungary) in Budapest, Hungary on 9 June 2012
The largest twist dance was achieved by 3,040 participants at an event organized by The Salvation Army Mississippi and Mississippi Braves (both USA) at Trustmark Park in Pearl, Mississippi, USA, on 23 August 2014. The Twist attempt took place immediately after the final home game of the Mississippi Braves season that went into extra innings.
The largest lantern is 12 m (39 ft 4 in) tall and 7.4 m (24 ft 3 in) wide. It was build for the Nenbutsushu Sanpouzan Muryojuji Temple in Kato City, Hyogo, Japan, and was measured on 10 March 2008. The lantern was made from stone.

It took them 180 min to cook the denpun dango. Ingredients include potato starch 33 kg (72 lb 12 oz), sweet boiled beans 33 kg (72 lb 12 oz), salt 330 g (11 oz) and water 42.9 kg (94 lb 9 oz).
The largest dancing lion measured 6.2 m (20 ft 4 in) long, 4.36 m (14 ft 3 in) high and 2.1 m (6 ft 10 in) wide and was manufactured by MGM GRAND Macau (China) for the Chinese New Year celebrations on 14 February 2010. The ‘Grand Lion’ weighed 113.3 kg (250 lb). The lion danced for 15 minutes operated by four people.

The largest ever demolition derby had 123 participants and took place at Todd & Pollock Speedway, Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, on 16 March 2002. It took 47 minutes before the winner, the last mobile car, emerged. Although there have been larger demolition derby events, involving several races, this is the largest single race that we know of.
