The largest gathering of Elvis impersonators is 895, achieved by Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort (USA) in Cherokee, North Carolina, USA, on 12 July 2014. The largest gathering of dancing dragons consisted of 88 dragons and was achieved by Hong Kong Dragon and Lion Festival Preparatory Committee (Hong Kong) in Hong Kong, China, on 1 January 2012. The attempt took place to celebrate the year of the dragon and required 1,087 people to operate the 88 dragons.
The largest gathering of people dressed as garden gnomes is 478 and was achieved by BBC Hereford & Worcester (UK) at the Foyer of Malvern Theatres in Worcester, UK, on 18 November 2011. The attempt raised funds for BBC Children in Need.
The largest gathering of people dressed as fruits was achieved by 206 participants, in an event organised by Leukaemia Research (UK) at the O2 Arena in Greenwich, London, UK, on 27 September 2009. All 206 participants were dressed as bananas as part of the Sony Ericsson, Run to the Beat half marathon.
The largest gathering of people dressed as comic book characters involved 1,530 participants and was achieved at the opening ceremony of the International Animation CCJOY LAND in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, on 29 April 2011. The participants were recruited by the organizer via the internet. 201 participants failed to be counted into the total, as they were characters from video games, TV shows and story books.

The record attempt was part of the 2010 Muckno Mania Festival.
