Largest tunic (kurta/kandoora/kaftan)

The largest tunic measures 33.90 m (111 ft 2 in) long and 18.50 m (60 ft 8 in) wide and was created by Lomar (Saudi Arabia) at an event organised by Phenomenal, at Red Sea Mall in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on 16 February 2010. The tunic weighs 400 kg and was made by 20 people in two months. 1200 normal sized tunic will be made out of the large tunic and will be donated to charities.

Largest tumour at birth

A benign cystic hygroma weighing 1.2 kg (2 lb 9 oz) was removed successfully from the neck of a baby boy (India, b. 5 March 2003) by a team lead by Dr. Palin Khundongbam at Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Imphal, Manipur, India on 17 March 2003. The tumour represented 40% of the child’s total bodyweight of 3 kg (6 lb 8.5 oz).

Largest tug of war tournament

The largest tug of war tournament consisted of 1,574 participants and was achieved by Phi Kappa Psi and Zeta Tau Alpha at RIT (USA) in Rochester, New York, USA, on 22 September 2012. The 17th annual Mud Tug proceeds were donated to charity.

The largest Tuca Tuca dance was achieved by 494 dancers during an event organised by the city of Bellaria Igea Marina (Italy) at the Polo Est beach, in Bellaria Igea Marina, Italy, on 7 August 2010. The Tuca Tuca is a popular dance launched by Raffaella Carrà. Raffaella Carrà (born 18 June 1943, Bologna, Italy), in Italy often simply known as la Carrà and in some Latin American countries sometimes simply as Raffaella, is an Italian singer, dancer, TV hostess, and actress.

Largest TV audience for an Olympic Games

The 2008 Beijing Olympics in China drew the largest television audience in the history of the Olympic Games, with 4.7 billion people across the globe tuning in to the spectacle between 8 and 24 August. This astonishing figure equates to 70% of the population, or roughly two out of every three people on the planet, and smashes the records previously set by Athens 2004, which pulled in 3.9 billion viewers, and Sydney 2000, which attracted 3.6 billion.

The largest underwater dance class consisted of 74 students and instructors who danced for 13 minutes and 30 seconds at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre in Sydney, NSW, Australia, on 27 October 2006. Largest underpants

The largest underpants measured 20 m (65 ft 7 in) across the waist and 12 m (39 ft 4 in) from waistband to crotch and were presented by Pants to Poverty (UK) in London, UK, on 16 September 2010. The measuring was carried out at the offices of the fairtrade fashion brand People Tree in East London.

Largest umbrella mosaic

The largest umbrella mosaic consisted of 2,170 participants and was achieved by PT Philips (Indonesia) at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, in Jakarta, Indonesia, on 29 August 2012. The mosaic consisted of 2,170 participants forming the picture of a light bulb and the text: Philips Led. Participants were counted by wearing bar coded wristbands.

Largest umbrella dance

The largest umbrella dance was achieved by 1,461 participants at an event organised by Global e-Business Operations Centre SRL (Romania) at the Arenele Romane, Bucharest, Romania, on 9 September 2011. More than twenty supervisors as well as the two independent witnesses were there to closely monitor the record attempt. The participants danced simultaneously for 6.24 minutes.
