He retired from the position on 31 July 2011 at the age of 81.
The longest career as an international darts player was that of Billy O’Brien (Ireland), which spanned from September 1968 to June 2002.

The longest chain of beads measures 8,668.575 m (5.39 miles) and was made by Colin Nesbitt (UK), Reece Randle (UK) and childhood cancer charity ‘Little Heroes’ (UK), in Bradford, UK, on 18 February 2013. The chain of beads was assembled by Colin Nesbitt and Reece Randle. Some of the lengths were made by children who had cancer and were in hospitals undergoing treatment. Of these children, some were so weak that their families and friends helped help make the bead lengths for the record attempt.

The longest chain of bandanas consisted of 2,450 bandanas and was created by participants in an event organized by The Hiratsuka Coming of Age Day Ceremony Committee (Japan) in Hiratsuka, Japan, on 10 January 2011. The chain was 1,357.71 m (4,454 ft 5 in) long. Each bandana measured 50 x 50 cm (1 ft 7 in x 1 ft 7 in)

The longest catwalk measures 2,292 m (7,519 ft 8 in) and was constructed by Wijnegem Shopping Center (Belgium) at the Wijnegem Shopping Center, Wijnegem, Belgium, on 8 October 2011. The catwalk was used for a fashion show with 70 models. It takes 35 minutes to walk the entire length of the catwalk.
The record for the longest whisker on a cat measured 19 cm (7.5 in) and belongs to Missi, a Maine coon who lives with her owner, Kaija Kyllönen. The whiskers were measured in Iisvesi, Finland on 22 December 2005. Missi’s full name is” Fullmoon’s Miss American Pie”. She was born on the 30th of December in 2001.
