The longest picnic line measures 2, 277 metres (7, 470 ft 4 in) and was organised by the City of Kitchener: as part of the Centennial Celebration of Cityhood in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, on 15 July 2012. Approximately 4,000 people particpated in this picnic and ate pizzas, bananas and bearpaws.
The longest pickup truck ramp jump is 91 m 74 cm (301 ft) and was achieved by Johnny Greaves (USA) at the La Posta Truck Trail in Campo, California, USA, on 18 December 2009. The car used was a Pro 2wd Toyota Tundra off-road race truck with a TRD (Toyota Racing Development) 357 cubic inch, carbureted pushrod engine, which is the type of car regularly used for the TORC off road racing series. The longest photographic negative measures 39.54 m (129 ft 8.69 in) in length and was created by Esteban Pastorino Diaz (Spain) using a custom-built panoramic slit camera on 13 June 2010. The negative is a panorama of major streets in Buenos Aries, Argentina, captured by the slit camera while mounted on the roof of a moving car.
GHF Atkins (UK) had photographs taken in each decade from 1927 until his retirement in 2004, published. He specialised in photographs of buses.

The Polar Express (USA 2004), the first film to entirely use the Performance Capture technique, whereby the physical movements of the actors are digitally recorded and then translated into a computer animation, was released on 10 November 2004 with a running time of 1 hr 33 min. The film, based on Chris Van Allsburg’s (USA) children’s book, has Tom Hanks (USA) playing five of the characters and was made at a cost of US$165 million (£88.85 million).
The longest pool toy ever measured 1,609.34 m (5,280 ft) and was made by Industrial Thermo Polymers Ltd of Brampton, Ontario, Canada, on 1 July 2001. Rob Abramovitch organised the event. Dave Hartman, the owner of Industrial Thermo Polmers Ltd and his son, Steve, built the most advanced equipment in North America for the process of this particular toy. The toy was measured automatically by a device on the machinery as it was processed.
In February 2009, a man in Brazil’s Distrito Federal carried out a 10-hour stand-off with local police, holding a 60-year-old woman hostage with a SEGA Light Phaser – the light gun used to play rail shooters such as Gangster Town, Hang On and Missile Defence 3D on the Master System. The National Hockey League (NHL) record for longest point-scoring streak by a rookie is 20 consecutive games by Paul Stastny (Canada) of the Colorado Avalanche (USA). He had 11 goals and 18 assists during the streak which began 3 February and ended 17 March 2007.
