The longest descent over a waterfall by canoe is 32.6 m (107 ft) by Tyler Bradt (United States) at the Alexandra Falls, Hay River, North West Territories, Canada, on 7 September 2007. Tyler achieved the descent by staying to the far left of the waterfall and landing in the safety zone (where the water pushes away from the waterfall’s base). Fellow kayaker Rush Sturges also attempted this record but failed to stay in his kayak.
The longest washing line measured 35,046.40 m (11,4981 ft 4 in) and was created by Procter And Gamble Distribution Europe in Wenduine, Belgium, on 16 August 2007.

Over 37,000 spectators were on hand to witness the attempt during the air show which was in its 47th year. The wall had an average height of 42.89 metres (140.57 feet).
The Great Wall of China is the longest in the world and has a main-line length of 3460km 2150miles – nearly three times the length of Britain – plus 3530km 2195miles of branches and spurs. Construction of the wall began during the reign of Qin Shi Huangdi (221-210BC). Its height varies from 4.5 to 12m 15 to 39ft and it is up to 9.8m 32ft thick. The longest walk-through – horror house is the “Dead or ALIVE” house which is 1,290.97 m (4,235ft 5 in) long and is located in Ube, Yamaguchi, Japan. It was measured on 4 October 2011. The survey of the house took over 7 hours.
The farthest water ski jump by a male is 75.2 m (246 ft 8 in) by Freddy Krueger (USA) at Seffner, Florida, USA, on 2 November 2008.
The New Jersey Devils (USA) won their last 11 regular-season games of the 2005-06 season to set the National Hockey League (NHL) record for the longest winning streak at the end of a season. The streak, which went from 28 March to 18 April 2006, broke the previous record of 9 held by the 1954-55 Detroit Red Wings (USA) and the 1986-87 Montreal Canadiens (Canada).
The longest windsurfing journey was 8,120 km (5,045 miles) by Flavio Jardim and Diogo Guerreiro (both Brazil) who travelled from Chui to Oiapoque on the Brazillian Coast between 17 May 2004 – 18 July 2005 as part of the Blue Destination Expedition. The longest windsurf race is the Lancelin Ocean Classic Windsurfing Marathon held annually in Lancelin, Australia. The course measured 25.62 km (15.92 miles) on 12 January 2008. The race has been running annually since 1986 and has been the same distance each year. In 2008 it attracted 151 competitors.
