The largest sock drive in 8 hours consisted of 2,459 pairs of socks, collected by Kaiser Permanente (USA) in San Diego, California, USA on 7 December 2012. Along with socks, Kaiser Permanente collected 300 pairs of shoes that were not counted as part of this record. Both socks and shoes were donated to local charities after the event.

The most people being tested for HIV at multiple venues in eight hours is 3733 people and was achieved by AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), Fundación Bienestar and the City of Rosario at venues across Rosario, Argentina, on 30 November 2012 In total ten locations were used across Rosario with the most prominent being, Plaza Montenegro (1380 people), Plaza San Martin (987 people) and the main tourist spot in the city, Monumento a la Bandera (329 people). An illustrated manuscript by Leonardo da Vinci (Italy) known as the Codex Hammer (or Codex Leicester as it has been renamed back to its original title) in which he predicted the invention of the submarine and the steam engine, was sold for a record $30,802,500 (£19,246,489) at Christie’s, New York, USA on 11 November 1994. The most high fives in one hour is 1,739 and was achieved by Ian Moritz (USA) at South Brunswick High School in South Brunswick, New Jersey, USA, on 16 March 2012. The record was achieved at a high school pep rally, with the final high fives being the cheerleading team.

The largest Ferris Wheel indoors measures 47.60 metres (156 ft 2 in) and was created by the government of Turkmenistan. It was presented and measured in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, on 30 April 2012. The ferris wheel has 24 cabins. The diameter of the house it is surrounded by is 57 metres.

The longest ironing marathon lasted 80 hours and was achieved by Janette Hastings (Australia) in Tumbarumba, New South Wales, Australia, between 1-4 April 2012. Janette ironed a whopping 1,157 items during this attempt, including jeans, shirts and shorts.

The most consecutive dives in wave formation is 4,725 and was achieved by Maik Neubert and AOK – Die Gesundheitskasse für Niedersachsen (Germany) in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, on 14 July 2012. 75 team members took part in the attempt, each diving 63 times for a total of 4,725.
