The longest chain of people licking ice cream was achieved by 2,728 participants at an event organised by Morelli’s of Portstewart Ltd. (UK) in Portstewart, Northern Ireland, UK, on 23 July 2011.

The event took place as part of a promotional campaign advertising Morelli’s ice cream.
