The largest serving of meatballs weighed 312.5 kg (688 lb 15 oz) and was achieved by the Serres Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Greece) in Serres, Greece, on 24 May 2009. Local buffalo meat was used for the meatballs. Other ingredients were as follows: buffalo meat 400 kg (882 lb), buffalo milk 30 kg (66 lb), parsley 1.5 kg (3.3 lb), spices 6.3 kg (14 lb), bread crumbs 7.3 kg (16 lb) and onions 50 kg (110 lb).
The largest serving of rice pudding weighed 303.74 kg (669 lbs 10 oz) and was achieved by Serres Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Serres, Greece, on 6 June 2010. The rice pudding was made to the traditional Greek recipe, called ‘Rizogalo’.
