The record for the smallest radio controlled car is a 25 mm long model (1/90 perfect scale) of a Mercedes Benz Smart car developed by Michihiro Hino, Tokyo, Japan in 2002.  Specification: -RC equipment: 45MHz belt PSD system Toy-RC 2ch -Battery:Micro-nickel hydrogen rechargeable battery. -By continuation operation time: full charge,it is about 15 minutes. 

Smallest toilet

The world’s smallest toilet, ‘Chisai Benjo’ in Japanese, was created by Takahashi Kaito of SII Nanotechnology Inc, Japan. Created by etching a silicon substrate with an ion beam, the development will no doubt be welcomed by future generations of nano-robots. A scanning electron micrograph of the creation won the Most Bizarre Award at the 49th International Conference on Electron, Ion and Photo Beam Technology and Nanofabrication Bizarre/Beautiful Micrograph Contest.

Smallest watch movement

The smallest watch movement is Cal.G720, developed and manufactured by Citizen Watch Co., Ltd. (Japan) in 2002, which measures 30 mm² (0.046 in²) in surface area and 73 mm³ (0.004 in³) in volume. Watch movement means machine parts of a watch except for exterior parts, such as a case, a dial and hands. Its full dimensions are 5.0 mm x 6.0 mm x 2.5 mm.

Tallest bottle sculpture

The tallest bottle sculpture is 11.90 m (39 ft 0.5 in) and was achieved by Tokiwa Fantasia Working Committee (Japan) at the Tokiwa Park, Ube, Japan, on 13 November 2011. The plastic bottle sculpture depicts a rocket called ‘Soyuz Rocket’ (Russian spacecraft) and is made using 10,829 two-litre plastic bottles. These bottles were commercially available in Japan.

Tallest lighthouse

The steel ‘Marine Tower’ at Yamashita Park in Yokohama, Japan is a lighthouse 106 m (348 ft) high. It has a power of 600,000 candelas, a visibility range of 32 km (20 miles) and an observatory located 100 m (328 ft) above ground. The Marine Tower is open to the public.

Tallest tower of paper cups built in 30 seconds

The tallest tower of paper cup built in 30 seconds was 27 cm (10.63 in) and was achieved by Masato Kajiwara (Japan) at McDonalds Sutepaten at Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan on 18 November 2010 in celebration of GWR day. The children were all from a kindergarten in Tokio. During the event, GWR presented McDonald’s Japan with a certificate for the most calendars sold in one year (1,476,442 units), a GWR record which had been achieved on 7 January 2010.

Widest aspect ratio for an arcade machine

With an aspect ratio of 32:9 (double the width of a standard widescreen TV), DariusBurst Another Chronicle has the widest panoramic display of any arcade game. The side-scrolling shooter was location tested in Akihabara, Tokyo, Japan, in August 2010 ahead of its nationwide roll-out. Featured in Guinness World Records Gamers Edition 2011

Worst marine pollution

A fertilizer factory on Minamata Bay, Kyushu, Japan, deposited mercury waste into the sea between 1953 and 1967.  Up to 20,000 people were affected, 4,500 seriously. 43 people died from the poisoning; another 800 deaths were attributed to mercury poisoning by some sources, while 111 others suffered permanent damage.
